Learning Outcomes:
From fingers to hands to offwidths to chimneys you’ll learn the right way to jam for each size.
We’ll work on the correct body positions for efficient movement, for resting, and for placing gear.
When and how to tape your hands vs using crack gloves.
Itinerary:
The clinics are divided into three separate days so we can focus on learning and practicing techniques for different crack sizes. Each day runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at an appropriate crag.
This is not a trad course—there will be no instruction on gear placement or anchor building. Our time will be entirely focused on movement skills.
Difficulty:
This is an intermediate-level course. Participants should be able to climb up to 5.9, either in the gym or on outdoor sport routes.
No prior crack climbing experience is required.
